This means that I go through a box of pen tips every three months or so. I have found that the 6 mm length is good for me, if I use the shorter ones, the penetration is shallow enough that my surface nerve endings sense it and cause pain from the injected insulin. The longer ones are OK in some areas but not in others since I want to release the drug within the fatty areas to slowly release. My choices are to buy these and be assured of high quality, sharp points, and no leaks between the needle and the plastic housing, or buying the cheaper ones and take my chances. Also, I have the choice of buying these at desertcart, or purchasing them locally for three times the price. All in all, this purchase will be my go to choice in the future. I highly recommend.
