Review: Appears durable, working great, easy to set up - So far extremely happy with the quality and construction of this unit. So many products in this category have terrible reviews I have held off for a long time. I just put this together with a 5 gallon water jug on my countertop and couldn't be happier. The materials seem fairly rugged, and durable enough for everyday use. The pump delivers a respectable amount of water per cycle, so it does not feel tedious chilling a container. I had no problem attaching the pump to the bottle, the collar and lock ring fit perfectly and everything was simple and straightforward to attach and start using. For cons; the multi-part downtube is a poor design in my opinion, and looks like trouble waiting to happen with pieces dropping off inside the water jug. As is none of the tubing properly reaches the bottom of a 5 gallon water jug, either too long or too short depending on the pieces. I will have to cut one of the pieces of tubing to fully empty a 5 gallon jug, which is acceptable in my opinion; there must be a lot of different manufacturers and dimensions of bottles.

This one is manual so not worried about it breaking down as quickly. Also, the water flow it provides is great even though it’s manual. The price for what you’re getting is worth it in my opinion.

**Q: Can i purchase additional tubing**
A: I bought additional tubing from my local hardware store.  I just took the tube with me to make sure it fit.  Cost me like $2

**Q: If this has a Proposition 65 warning, What are the Proposition 65 chemicals in this?**
A: I’m really not sure. It says BPA free. Just don’t use it with the cheap ass Walmart water. It doesn’t fit the bottle right. You have to rig it.

**Q: I notice that there is a cap on the spout.  Does it drip after use so that you have to put the cap on each time?**
A: No.does not drip w/o the cap. I just use it to keep the tip clean!

**Q: does this product contain any metal inside or on the outside of it?**
A: No,  the tubing inside and outside are all plastic. I've had it now for over a year and use it daily and have had no problems.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than electric ones but not perfect

I switched to this manual pump after using a rechargeable one for a few months to save on electricity and also the hassle of having to charge it frequently. Been enjoying this pump so far! It's simple enough in design and does the job. Only issue is you really need to ensure it's attached snuggly and level with the jug neck. It also took some finagling with the tubes to get the right length but now it's locked in and working great. Gotta muscle the pump a bit more rigorously as the water level gets lower in the jug as opposed to when it's full but that's not a deal breaker. If you have mobility or strength issues it could be concerning; just something to keep in mind. Overall, for the cost and functionality I would buy it again!
