## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the paint dry flexible? (ie would it be suitable for painting on EVA foam, for cosplay props)**
A: This gloss paint is meant to act as a reflective base for the Alcad II high reflection metal paints, flexibility is not a requirement and would be detrimental to the finish. They therefore require a hard surface. These paints are also lacquers and are solvent based, they may affect EVA foam chemically. I suspect that a gloss finish and flexibility may not be achievable, but depends on what you mean by flexible and the chemical comparability of the substrate and chosen paints composition. The paint is great. If you are going to Chrome this base coat it’s super important that your surfaces are completely smooth and reflective using Micromesh.
