So far I liked it and consider it a good choice.Firstly it looks solid and well built. It doesn’t look like a cheap stuff, which is what I was afraid of when considering buying it or not.I have used it with external keyboard, Flash drive, external SSD drive, and a logitech wireless mouse receiver. It all worked well. As for the speed, I tested with my external SSD drive on my MacBook Pro 2013 using Disk Speed Test. Both reading and writing speed were slightly higher than 400 Mb/S, pretty close to the speed when I connect the SSD drive directly to my MacBook Pro. After a few mins “high speed data transferring”, the USB hub got obviously warmer, but not hot. Since it’s enclosed by Aluminum case, I think it’s normal.I haven’t used it with the “free” USB-C to USB-A adapter, because my laptop doesn’t have a USB-C port. But maybe in the future. The USB-C to USB-A adapter alone may cost 7-10 bucks, so I think this USB hub with a free adapter is a good value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works as expected *by D***U on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2018* I bought a small portable Windows 10 laptop that did not have a Ethernet port but had a USB C port. I bought this device to get an Ethernet port and have additional USB ports. I had no issue using this device to update Windows 10 when I initiated using the laptop. As anyone who has gone through an initial Windows 10 update, it takes a very long time. This device had no problems going through the hours of updating without any interruptions.
