Review: Tasted very good and chocolate. Everyone liked it. - I bought this for my husband's birthday party. Each person I talked to said it was very good tasting and they really liked the taste. Some said it was like cheesecake texture. It was yummy and I recommend it highly.
Review: Comes in wasteful styrofoam box - The taste is OK, but I won't get it again for how it is shipped. It arrives in a styrofoam box, that is not recyclable. It won't fit in our city-provided garbage cans so I tried breaking it into pieces. It is too strong for that. I ended up breaking it up with a hammer. Surely there must be some other way for them to ship this instead of a large, thick, styrofoam box that will take hundreds of years to decompose in a landfill.

Allow 5-7 days for delivery. It mentioned 2 days when I ordered, but it took longer, which is OK. Just plan for it. The cake was delicious and very pretty. I served it at my birthday party. I am trying to avoid sugar and desserts., so I went with no sugar added. The ingredients in the dessert caused 4 of my guests to have a blow-out reaction the next day. In the future, I will order a regular cake and eat a few bites. It was a very good cake, I just learned my lesson. I may order from David's again - I will order a regular cake, or make my own cake (very delicious, using homemade buttercream frosting). Party On!
