Exactly what it said Review: My nightmare of dog's fur is just about gone🤗 - I was skeptical!! However, I was desperate to get my dogs to stop shedding so damn much! I was sweeping twice a day but still felt like I just needed to sweep again and again... Since my dogs started taking these I see a marked improvement and they're not shedding nearly as much! Just so noticeably different; in a positive way; it's Simply amazing!! It took a couple weeks to see difference.. I'm really happy that I kept with it! For every 20 lb of your dog's weight, they get one treat if my dog weighs 80 lb he gets for treats the little one is not quite 20 lb so I gave her a half of one every other day and 1 full treat on the next day. Well worth the money!! Such a difference !! thank you for this wonderful product. update: I'm still very pleased with these treats. It says on the front of the package, that these help support normal shedding. My big guy is losing his winter coat and so is my little girl. But the hair shedding is still not as bad as it was Before I started using these. I'm still extremely happy, and grateful for this product!! ## Features - Helps support normal shedding and maintain healthy skin and coat - Salmon oil provides omega-3 and -6 fatty acids - Good for all size and ages of dogs - Made In USA with globally sourced ingredients. - Veterinarian formulated. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0009YYK0I | | Allergen Information | Salmon | | Allergen information | Salmon | | Brand | Nutri-Vet | | Brand Name | Nutri-Vet | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 5,702 Reviews | | Flavour | Salmon | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00669125118207 | | Item Type Name | Nutri-Vet Shed-Defense Soft Chews for Dogs, 5.3 Ounce Bag | | Item Weight | 0.35 Pounds | | Item weight | 0.35 Pounds | | Manufacturer | nutri-vet | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1001093 | | Model Number | 1001093 | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 669125118207 | | Unit Count | 1.1148 square meter | | Unit count | 1.1148 square meter | ## Product Details - **Allergen information:** Salmon - **Brand:** Nutri-Vet - **Flavour:** Salmon - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00669125118207 - **Item weight:** 159 g ## Images ![Nutri-Vet Shed Defense Omega 3 Dog Supplement, 60 Count - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71tgtjtCP9L.jpg) ![Nutri-Vet Shed Defense Omega 3 Dog Supplement, 60 Count - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71HiEni6oaL.jpg) ![Nutri-Vet Shed Defense Omega 3 Dog Supplement, 60 Count - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81JUoH+Xd+L.jpg) ![Nutri-Vet Shed Defense Omega 3 Dog Supplement, 60 Count - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81gMITF5+ML.jpg) ![Nutri-Vet Shed Defense Omega 3 Dog Supplement, 60 Count - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71d-whb8vwL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How many chews per pound/dog weight?** A: I give my 20 pound dog one chew a day, so the 5.3 oz. bag with 60 chews lasts about 2 months. **Q: About how many chews are in the bag?** A: in the 5.3 oz bag it is labeled for 60 chews. **Q: Does this product have any chicken products or grains? i'm trying to eliminate allergy sources..** A: So very sorry about my delay in responding - this product does not have any chicken products, however it does have the following grains: barley flour and pearled barley, brewers rice, oat flour and flax seed. **Q: My chihuahua will not eat these. Any suggestions what I can do for her to take them?** A: My chihuahua won’t eat them either. They are hard as a rock. You can’t crush them. Cutting them in tiny pieces doesn’t make her eat it either. The best solution I think is throw them away or return them to Amazon. Sorry🐶 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by G***E on 3 March 2017* Fast shipping. My dog is a Shiba Inu, mixed with Australian Shepherd we think. She has a thick coat. We got her in the summer at 1 year old from the shelter. For the first 6 months, we didn't have any issues. Then, it started. There was hair everywhere!!! We got a couch cover, and it was still full of hair, even after regular washing, and using a lint roller daily! And, if she would come up and rub against your leg, which is a LOT, your pants would immediately be full of hair! UGH!! Not good when they are dress pants for work or church! I started carrying a lint roller everywhere! Anyway, after searching, I saw these and decided to give them a try. I figured they're cheap enough, why not? Well, they definitely work!!!! We are SO happy at our house! They do take about 1 1/2-2 weeks to start working, but we could already tell a difference in our couch cover and our pants after that time. It has only gotten better. Just give it about 2 weeks to really tell. It won't happen overnight. I will definitely keep ordering these! If anyone is on the fence, as I was, let me reassure you that they do work!! Try them, and see for yourself!! We are very happy with our less hairy furbaby! 😊 ## Frequently Bought Together - Nutri-Vet Shed Defense Soft Chews for Dogs, Supports Normal Shedding and Healthy Coat, Contains Omega 3 & 6, Skin & Coat Support, 60 Soft Chews, 5.3 Oz - Salmon Oil for Dogs - Premium Fish Oil for Skin and Coat Health - Omega 3 Supplement - Supports Itchy Skin - 8 oz Liquid - Norwegian Dog Salmon Oil - Essential Dog Supplement --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/58143247-nutri-vet-shed-defense-omega-3-dog-supplement-60-count](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/58143247-nutri-vet-shed-defense-omega-3-dog-supplement-60-count) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
