As does all of Kreg products. However I had to learn to drive the screws is a little slower that I might otherwise drive them. The driver started to round over because the bit would jump out of the square hole in the screw. A slower method with constant pressure solved the problem. Do not use a hammer drill. The only thing different per material choice is the thickness of the decking determining the length of screw. **Q: Where are the stainless version of these available?** A: I'm sorry to say we don't have stainless versions of the longer deck screws, only the standard-length 2" stainless deck screws for 1-1/4" material. **Q: what type if bit shape do they use** A: It is their own bit.
