Definitely no placebo effect here. Streaming from various artists and genre's from CD 16bit 44. kHz up to 24bit 192kHz every track sounds so bright. I have a very modest system, Marantz, Wiim Pro, Schitt and KEF iq5's and this cable brings out the best quality. Worth every penny I paid.
