Some organizers are full of product placement and trendy "must haves" whereas this book helped me navigate the maze of wedding traditions and plan a solid budget. It covers little details as who pays for which expenses, dates and goals for planning, and how to honor various relatives and guests without offending them. Since my wedding planner ditched me halfway through planning, this book was a great help. It does not include much help with extra parties though such as bachelorette, bridal shower, engagement dinner, or wedding rehearsal.
