We did get stopped at security because of the mini magnets in the pieces but we got through onto the plane fine. It passed a great amount of flight time. It’s compact tidy and sturdy. A great board for beginner to experienced players. Nice gift or stocking filler.

The board, which is also the box, is good quality as are the chess pieces, which have just the right amount of magnetism to stick to the board. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is that there was no carrying pouch supplied as advertised, although probably I wouldn’t have used this anyway.

Outright lies - no magnet, clearly a scam. Pieces are tiny - adequate for travel set - but utterly useless without magnets or pinholes to keep them from being blown away by a simple breath. Untrustworthy supplier.
