Review: I installed this speaker set nearly five years ago in my VW Westfalia camper van. This is my third van and third sound system and I think I really got it right this time. I'm blown away with the sound quality that the component speakers offer. People who ride in my van are always commenting on how they didn't expect such good audio quality in my old van. At highway speeds, my van can get pretty loud and when I crank up the volume to overcome the ambient noise, I've never heard any distortion and it completely masks the van/road noise. The tweeters are mounted on the dash closer to ear level and the crossovers are mounted under the front seats. The speakers sound every bit as good today as they did 5 years ago.

**Q: What do you recommend for sq for subara brz, this model or focal 165f?**
A: I would pick the 165F, Access is a lower quality product in materials and performance... Also Access line is made in China, and PSs are made in France. To stay 3-way go for a Focal PS 165 F3 Component Kit... Leaving the Focal territory, if you have the budget go for a "JL Audio C5-653 Evolution C5 Series 6.5" 3-Way Component System", is a superior SQ tool to get some nice soundstage. Good luck on that project.

**Q: What amplifier would you recommend for this set?**
A: I recommend a good 150 - 200 watt 2-channel amplifier. I'm running mine off an old school fosgate 150 and these speakers sound amazing. They are so crisp they make my truck sound like I'm on a soundstage. Amazing speakers by a great brand

**Q: Would a Rockford Fosgate P600x4 be able to run these components?**
A: I would say that would be the minimum spec to run these speakers.  They can easily handle more power but depending on your music preference 75 watts RMS should just be enough.  If the budget is there, I would look towards 100 watts RMS as a better cleaner power option...

**Q: does this come with mounting hardware for the 4”?**
A: In most cases custom mounting hardware is needed.
