I was worried that the corners would pull up a bit where the elastic bands attach but they actually lie flat and I appreciate that the protector only covers the top of the mattress as it lets the mattress get air. I wanted a cover that would let the mattress breathe. It is very soft and not crunchy like other waterproof covers but is still waterproof as we found out when my son had a stomach bug and threw up all over his bed. Also, it doesn’t make the baby sweat like some other more plasticky protectors do. Good product. Anyway, it fitted well and it's 100% waterproof, so I was happy with that.However, the second time I washed it with the other bed linen at 60 degrees, it shrunk considerably, I would say that now it's a size 60x120.
