I've bought about 5 or 6 of these and they all seem to fail after a few months of use. The most recent one I stripped down the cables and tested for continuity to check if the cables or barrel plug had become worn or damaged. They tested out fine which indicated it was the wall wart itself. Not really sure what caused it to fail. Unfortunately it's difficult to find 12v 3a UL-listed adapters like these that are reasonably priced.
