The pieces never fit together properly (the slats slid together, but were EXTREMELY easy to separate completely), and I had to be very careful how I set it up from the first use. I still TRIED to use it, but the wood just warped until it wouldn't stay together at all. NOT worth the trouble. It finally collapsed and wrecked a hardcover book worth more than it is (by which I mean, the advertised price; it's so badly constructed that most paperbacks are 'worth' more).
