However, it only took a small amount to remove around 3 to 5 inches of rust (about 1/2 inch wide) for my problem. I ordered a bottle and went to use it. As it says in the instructions, pour the liquid over the stains and after a few minutes it will go mauve. Sure enough it did and after a few more minutes wipe it away. This is where the disappointment comes. Some stains went and the rest stayed. Not to be deterred I went at it again but that's when the small bottle ran out. I went to order some more, thinking I could get a larger container, eg 1 litre, but no you can only buy this stuff in these small containers.
