It is the ultimate in convenience. We are pretty busy people so we don't really have the time to make steel cut oats in the morning or often the foresight to do it the night before. With these though, it doesn't matter. We know they're in the pantry or even easy enough to keep in my desk at work when I forget a lunch or need an afternoon snack. You can heat it right in the pouch.Now, I would consider these steel cut oats a blank canvas. Obviously people have different tastes, so we love that we can add whatever we want and totally control the sugar or fat added for whatever our specific goals are that day. Sprinkling cinnamon sugar on it is a favorite around here. Also dropping in some raisins and little maple syrup ain't bad either. And if you're at work, with no fancy ingredients to add, straight out of the pouch works too.
