I contacted customer service and explained the situation. They managed to find my friends order from back in December, and they sent me a whole new pack of fresh bulbs. They germinated in less than 12 days and they're looking amazing! You get about 15 bulbs, but multiple plants will grow out of one bulb. These are so beautiful and easy to take care of, and I just love when the little pinkish flowers come up. Leafari is an awesome company with quality plants and excellent customer service. Thank you, Jill, for hooking me up with these fresh bulbs! My advice to people who get these, plant them right away, or find the proper way to store them, otherwise they will die. Thank you Leafari!!! Review: Easy to grow and multiply - I actually bought from this seller almost a year ago. The low price was the main reason I purchased. It took exactly 7 days for me to get my package, I was expecting it to take longer so I was surprised at how fast I received it. Over the year I’ve separated the shamrocks into different pots because they multiply like crazy. I find that they grow best indoors on a windowsill. They are quick to fill up a pot and once full you can separate them in half into 2 different pots and grow more. It’s one my favorite plants in my collection and living in Florida they’ve lasted me year round. I’ve read some people got theirs from China, but I don’t think mine came from overseas so I don’t know what’s going on as far as shipping goes. The company in China selling these bulbs takes forever to ship and is in violation of USDA law importing agricultural products to the United States without the proper paperwork. **Q: do oxalis red shamrock plants like a lot of water?** A: I water when the top inch or so is dry and have great luck with these plants. They are forgiving as well, should you wait a bit longer than you should. Purple shamrock is an easy plant to grow and a hard one to kill. **Q: How well do the bulbs grow indoors in Arizona?** A: It's best to grow them indoors. I'm in Minnesota and they can be planted outside, in the ground or in a pot but the bugs and squirrels love them. Mine grow nicely indoors near a window but no sun. The like light but not the sun. Water them when the top feels dry. They close at night so people think they are dying and give them water. Don't. Just leave the plant be where you put it. Water it when the top is dry and pick off the dead leaves and flower stems once in a while. Kind of ignore it and enjoy it's beauty. Mine is flourishing, happy and healthy. It's about 5 feet from a south window and is doing well. Oh and you do need to turn it when you notice it starting to grow towards the window, this will help keep it straight.
