I use it for fly fishing on lochs on mainly clinker based rowing boats. The motor together with a 100 Ah leisure battery gets myself and boat partner around the lochs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great silent running, but speed control needs improvement. *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 October 2020* Very quiet in use and perfect for gentle cruising. Quite tall so on a small boat the tiller ends up high. The speeds 1-4 give a nice step change from barely moving up to walking pace. Amp draw barely changes between them ranging from 16-23amps. Speed 5 however is more than double speed 4. It try’s to pull over 50 amps, rockets forward and is way over the 500w rating of the motor! Not sure if that is good for it so tend to avoid it in the interest of longevity and battery life but would love more control and variability on the speed.
