I have a pressure cooker but get lazy some times and just boil inside of a (1/2 pack 26g)quart sized Mason jar with 16.9 oz water. Get a big pot with a lid. Fill the pot a third way up. Set a bowl in the middle. Next set your jar full of agar mix in bowl Top pot with lid and boil for 30 mins. I said boil for 30 not 30 all together. Once it starts to boil set your timer for 30 mins. Now your off to the races get you LC or spore print gas it up and GO!!!!! **Q: Is this product appropriate for baking?** A: Hello- No, this product is not intended for human consumption. **Q: Can I use this straight when making mushroom Petri dishes or do I need to mix agar agar with it?** A: No additional agar needed.
