It makes it hard for your hands and body to “contort” correctly to grasp the handles without discomfort, because it takes too much space behind your scapulas and limits your freedom of movement. The 2.0 is too small. The 3.0 is just right, despite the product description for the 4.0 saying it’s recommended for tall people. In short: get the 3.0 version if you’re unsure of what to buy and you’re tall. It will suffice on 99% of exercises and machines. Overall, the product has been great in helping me achieve that coveted stretch on the machines. That said, I do not recommend using it on the standard Hammer Strength chest press machine—use it on the incline and decline variant for your shoulders’ sake. You don’t want to hurt your coracoid processes. Some people say to get the cheaper EAS1OOPE variant of this. I don’t recommend this, because that product slips and slides too much, even if taut against the seat.
