I was expecting these to be more savory, and chewy, as they say they are packed in oil. There are not savory at all, but pickled flavor. They actually have the taste and texture of pickled eggs! You cannot taste the octopus at all and the texture of octopus is gone. I happen to really like pickled eggs, so this was not an issue for me and, like I said, these do taste good…just not like octopus.
