However, I recently had little choice but to purchase more power banks due to recent changes in certain regulations for travelling through certain destinations due to incidents involving power banks inflight.To meet the criteria of several airlines/regions/countries, this power bank isn’t high capacity but holds enough juice for topping up my phone with its inbuilt usb c connection. It is quick to charge up (2hrs) and has the following countries’ certifications marked on its casing (CCC, CE, KC, BIS,NOM, PSE) as of March 2026. It was surprising how my other anker power banks lacked most of these certifications and also how hard it was to confirm these details online when purchasing power banks. In fact, these information wasn’t even available on the packaging and was only found after unsealing the box.This power bank is very compact and portable, making it a great companion for travel. It does emphasise that the phone case shouldn’t be too thick to prevent connection issues with the phone. It also has the option of connecting a separate usb c to it if the inbuilt usb c connection cable does not work with the case.It charges my phone well, and does not seem to overheat for me. I have bought 2 (apple green and blush pink) as there will not be enough juice in 1 for 2 phones while out and about for the day. Of note, a restriction on the number of power banks one can travel with are being enforced in some countries (2 per pax is seemingly the new norm for some countries). Both are well constructed.
