Review: Works superbly well, even in a pool without the right inlets - Fed up of changing the pool water every few days in our 950l blow up pool, I bought this. The pool doesn't have any inlet ports on the sides, so it was a gamble that this would work. To begin with, it wouldn't, I could not get rid of air locks and the pump could not draw the water up and over the side of the pool. After wasting over an hour of my time, I decided to try priming the pump by taking the lid off the pump and pouring water directly into the pump where the filter sits, and as if by magic this solved the problem. The pump was now able to suck the water from the pool. With a little bit of tube tapping/shaking, and a bit of venting, the air bubbles came out and the flow rate was very strong. After 2 hours the pool was looking much clearer and cleaner and the filter was already half full of grass, sand and bugs (which was easily dealt with by washing it out under a tap). The other modification I made was to attach a weight to the tube sucking the water from the pool, to keep it on the bottom of the pool, so that it didn't float up and start sucking air in, otherwise everything is exactly the same as for use with an Intex pool. Priming is a massive time saver and gets it working when using with a pool without ports on the side.
Review: Brilliant not so little pump/filter. - All working well so far. Good flow rate and filter definitely reducing the algae level in my 8ft pool. The filter is easy to remove and clean with a garden hose, ready for its next use. Definitely recommend this pump/filter for an above ground pool. Doing a great job so far and have had the same water in the pool for 4 weeks now. Water is still clear and with a small addition of pool additives is getting plenty of use.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get rid of air bubbles

The instructions could do with some improvement, but overall I’m impressed with this. It’s a bit fiddly to get it going just right but once it’s working leave it to do its thing and you’re good. Tip - pay attention to the instructions on how to deal with air bubbles. Once you get rid of them you’ll have a strong steady low-noise flow of water
