I know 5.4 motors were bad. if you had an easy experience replacing olugs or a bad experience please respo** A: They changed head design in mid 2008 So end of 2008 and newer they are fine and no worse than changing plugs on anything else. This is the updated design. Ford noted the new design by using brown coil boots. So you would have to pull one to find out if you have new or old style.
