The handles, while not long enough to fit four fingers through because of the round shape are thick and I can comfortably fit my index, middle and ring fingers through although the index and ring fingers are more comfortable. The glazing seems to be durable. That is the main reason I switched to porcelain. I have some cheaper ceramics that started cracking inside the mug due to temperature shock and metal hitting against the sides while stirring. We started using small teak spoons and will continue with these mugs but I’m hoping they won’t crack over time. Each mug is different. Each mug is colorful.
