It disassembles completely and i’ve washed the plastic cup part in the dishwasher just fine, but i hand wash the rubber lid part just in case. The only downside is that if it gets slammed on the ground, it will spill. most babies slam things on the ground so many spills have happened. ALSO if your child thinks of chewing on the edge, might as well assume it’s always going to leak. we bought these purple and pink ones because we already had some blue ones but my son chewed up the edge and we needed replacements.
