INDICATIONS FOR USE Glandosane is an artificial saliva for patients with dryness of the oral mucosa and throat e.g. maintenance of oral hygiene in intensive care units, patients receiving radiotherapy treatment, following oral surgery, during treatments with certain drugs which suppress saliva production such as some antidepressants and chemotherapy agents. Glandosane is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for patients suffering from a dry mouth as a result of radiotherapy or sicca syndrome (xerostomia). Just a few squirts of it and your mouth is moist again and left with a pleasant cucumber flavour, though it doesn't last particularly long as the spray's consistency isn't any thicker than that of water. Therefore it doesn't coat your mouth for long.
