I bought some organic soil by miracle gro once and there were pieces of plastic in it. Yucky. **Q: Should I use this alone or mix it with another soil.** A: Use it alone, it is perfectly blended for seedlings. The only alteration may to be adding perlite. **Q: Doe water absorb into this soil when you water the new seeds ? Or is it so light & fluffy that it just bubbles on top & doesn't absorb into the soil ?** A: It did absorb the water. However we wet the soil and let it sit over night and then put the seeds in **Q: What are all of the organic materials in this mix? Is it made with Bio Sludge?** A: I used this soil to start pepper seeds. I started and kept the seeds indoors, and all died. I pored the soil out of the starter kit and restarted the seeds with yard topsoil, and all the plants lived and are producing peppers. This soil is overpriced, and I did not have good luck with it.
