I laundered them before use and they softened. The fabric was not scratchy, has a decent thread count, and the seams are well sewn on the product I recieved. They are a great value and I have no complaints about their quality.

**Q: Do these have shoulder snaps?  Can the tops of the shoulders be opened completely?**
A: No there are no shoulder snaps. They only tie on top and mid back.

A: sorry I do not know what you mean by size od 1X

A: possibly, but I don't think it would be a loose fit

These are good. They are big enough for my larger patients and long enough. I didn't give it five stars for after several washing they are thinning slightly. But this maybe due to the white fabric.
