I bought these on a whim. (Thank you, lightning deal!) Being used to the leather variety, I wasn’t sure if I’d like these since they are a little different. However, I needn’t have worried. These boots are just as comfortable as my previous pairs, if not more so. The padding around the opening is a welcome addition and the fit is far superior. They are more compact than the traditional version, which suits my feet much better. I’d always felt that the original version were very roomy in my size (and I had tried smaller sizes), but these fit like a glove. Very impressed.
