The water connection can easily be turned 90 degrees. I’ve had the triton perea for over a year looks good and performs well. When you turn it off the water carries on running for about 10/15 seconds cooling the heating element down , this is a good feature. Hope this is helpful for decision making. **Q: Will this replace the triton aquatronic ultra 4 model** A: I don't know about that exact model but i used it to replace an older model and it was exactly the same. Just make sure the water and electric feeds are the same? **Q: What type of 'olive' (plastic or copper) do I use to connect the compression fitting to the inlet pipe?** A: Use a 15mm copper or brass olive and you won’t go wrong. All the best. **Q: Is this shower ok to replace a opal model of trition** A: The best replacement options will depend on which version of the Opal model you have (there are 3 in total). If you have an original Opal, our Etana or Martinique models would be best as they are built on the same back plate (same cable & water entry points etc.). If you have an Opal 2, our Aquatronic 3 Ultra model would be a suitable replacement. The Perea would be suitable for all versions of Opal however, as it shares the same cable and water entry points. Easy to use. Love it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Replacement Unit *by T***. on 9 September 2023* Bought this one to replace our previous Triton that we had for about eight years. Can't comment about ease of installation as got a plumber to do it - but he didn't seem to have any difficulty. Unfortunately there was a problem with the start switch which meant a call out to Triton for one of their guys to investigate. Yes - they came within a couple of days and Yes - it only took him ten minutes or so to replace a faulty part and Yes- it was of course under warranty so no cost - But afraid I need to take off a star because of that. Unit itself looks good and the temperature dial is real simple and sensitive - which is great as our old one never seemed to be that accurate or would take too long to adjust to the new setting. There is just something to know about turning off this unit which is not especially obvious - as after pressing "stop" this shower continues to run for 5 seconds or so with cold water.
