Part of Cal-Van spark plug hole rebuild operation requires bore scope to carefully look for metal chips inside of combustion chamber. I have done the procedure before on a different cylinder and decided to upgrade my bore scope with this one before doing it . This bore scope is excellent, could see much better . Also paired it with a Samsung tablet ( bigger screen ) instead of my phone . Highly recommend !

Unfortunately, had to return because it didn’t work for what I bought it for (rifle bores) but I am not going to lower review for my mistake. The product was great. Awesome picture quality, super easy to use. All you do is plug it in, and it auto-prompts you to download the app for it, takes about 15 seconds, and then you’re up and running. The light is adjustable, so if it’s not bright enough or too bright, you can turn it up or down for a clearer picture. Wish it worked for firearms though. The length was good, but the camera end was just a hair too wide for 7.62 so would not work on that or anything smaller than that, and I needed something that will. Don’t let my mistake keep you from buying such a good product, you’ll be happy with this.

When it works, it works well. However, it losses connection with the iphone. At that point, you must unplug and plug it back into the iphone. Extremely frustrating when you have the camera positioned in the spot you need to see, and then having to reset the plug using both hands and loosing the camera position. I suspect the connection is being lost due to the adaptor that is required to plug the camera into the iphone. UPDATED Review...I have upgraded my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. Reason: I have recently purchased a new iphone that uses a USB-C port which eliminated the need for the adaptor. Without the adaptor, the camera works well without losing connection.

Great product for the price, look at Amazon to learn how to operate the two cameras.The main camera is about 1"3/4 long before the adaptable wire begins, so cannot turn tight corners unless space is 1"3/4" depth or longer, small spaces hard to make a turn but can go in at an angle and travel. However, there is the side camera that makes up for that shortfall. Two cameras on one probe. Wanted to give 4 stars because camera head was too long for tight corners in one application, but overall, 5 Stars.

Highly recommended! Had another one but this is far superior. Easy to use. The addition of the attachments is a real plus as sometimes you will want to fetch something you found with it. Stores in a small space.

Works well when you have external illuminations.. LED's are too weak to even illuminate a combustion chamber, most of the times when I need to use an endoscope is because I can't get anything else in there or I can't see well enough. Having weak LED's on something that is supposed to give you a better look at things makes it kind of useless

Great camera use it for automotive and I can say this product camera quality is by far better than snap on/matco avoid spending 500+ for a branded tool with poor quality, and the light brightness this thing has you can inspect anywhere it’d be impossible to get light, very easy to use with the app and it stores pictures in the app

My old endoscope quit working on my Galaxy S21 5G. It became incompatible with the version 14 OS. Searching for a verifiably compatible product was frustrating until I used Rufus AI to find this individual product. The package was shipped fast. I had the app downloaded quickly. It was then, literally, plug and play. I am impressed with: both the image quality (better than my old one) AND the focus range. I was able to image my fingerprint 1/4 of an inch from the lens. It also was able to focus on windows in my house 30 feet away. I also like the refresh rate. Meaning the images are less jumpy than my old scope when moved. The semi stiff cord is also an improvement over my old one. It holds position rather than being limp and floppy. Side camera is a lesser quality, I think. However, it is a nice feature. I use a bit of nail polish to make a line on the camera body, so I know which orientation is "up".
