First, the price is a bit high. This 34"x34" costs about $55. A similar larger (double the size) raised planter from another maker costs about $65, and it's more than double in size than this one. You do the math. As a lot of reviews has stated, some corners come bent (see pics) - at this rate, you might say "it's a feature"! LOL ...but sadly the bends are not a feature! The makers must package their product better especially at the corners if this is endemic and spoils the vibe for buyers.....mallet not included! ...which leads us to it's second shortcoming, the metal is very flimsy thin, if I held just one corner of one of the panels, the panel will bend under it's own weight (see pic). And then there's the slightly off center location of the sets of bolt holes on the corner connector which when connected to each panel leaves a sharp corner sticking out (see pic), not a big deal, but still annoying and can be hazardous if you're not careful with your gardening or if children are playing nearby. Finally, some reviewers say it doesn't keep it's shape well, and I must agree if you just sit the planter on top of the ground since the metal is so flimsy, it's likely to bulge and warp. I intend to bury the outside perimeter of my planter at least an inch or two into the ground which hopefully will stabilize the metal when soil is placed on the inside so at least it is still usable. FWIW, there are a good number of very small nut and bolt to secure, if you didn't have arthritis on your hands and fingers before putting this planter together, you will have it when you're done! And lastly, even though the white color of the panel is a slightly off white, when the sun shines on it, it is a very bright white, maybe should have opted for the grey color. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Theses were exactly what we were looking for to start ... *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2017* Theses were exactly what we were looking for to start our home garden. I bought 4, and only one of the 4 had an issue with construction, but was fixable. Much cheaper than cedar, and feels more environmentally responsible than plastic. I've been avoiding going to Home Debt to buy all the materials to make one due to how time consuming and expensive it turned out to be last time. This bed arrived quickly, in good condition and was easy to assemble. It weighs much less than the wood beds we had made before and we put it together quickly. The size is easy to work with in our community garden plot and looks really nice!
