I’m excited to continue building strength with it. The vest itself is very light (about 6.5 lbs) and does not include additional weights—you’ll need to use gym weight plates or provide your own. The company claims it can hold up to 300 pounds, and it feels quite sturdy with 70 pounds loaded (two 35-lb plates, front and back). It’s both durable and stylish. A few considerations: adding or removing weights *absolutely* requires assistance for me, as I lack upper body strength compared to most other men. (I can’t even lift the vest over my head while wearing 70 pounds of added weight.)
