Other places sell it for more. Got it here for $11.07 tax included. Bought it for my 2002 Jetta TDI (MK4) that set for a long time and had trouble starting. Also had a check engine light with fault code P1246: "needle lift sensor implausible signal", which is on #3 injector. I got a new fuel filter, filled it (that serves as priming of the fuel system, too) with Diesel Purge and installed the filter. The car was running on mostly the Diesel Purge until it was depleted. It did not smoke or struggle when running on Diesel Purge and actually smelled a little like I was running bio diesel or veggie oil. The check engine light went away on it's own and the car starts and runs great. This is a good cleaner/additive, I recommend it. This isn't my first time using it. Used it on an old Merc 240D before with good results. Note that one 500ml bottle barely filled the new Jetta fuel filter. You would need (2) bottles, so you can top off the filter (fuller is better and makes for easier starting after you replace filter) and add some to the tank as well AND have a little extra for later. I recommend doing it every 10K miles for an older engine. Do NOT add it directly to your fuel tank. The best method is to do it directly to your fuel system as others have suggested (or have your local mechanic do it for you if you are concerned about doing it correctly). Remember!!!!!!!!!, this does not replace a CLEAN fuel tank! Drop it and clean it if you are worried about cheap, dirty diesel fuel clogging up everything. If every time you remove your fuel filter it is full of dirt, you have a dirty tank! **Q: is this a fuel injector cleaner or engine block cleaner?** A: This cleaner is for the fuel system **Q: can you use this on a LB7 6.6 Duramax Diesel** A: Ran it through my 05 lly duramax just fine don't see why it wouldn't work in the lb7.
