It fit over the current bed perfectly. I loved how I could take it off and wash it without washing the whole bed. My dog is an 80 pound Chesapeake bay retriever. Granted he’s still considered a puppy and we run him 4 miles a day, he still gets bored. I ordered this cover in March and it’s now July and he’s completely torn it up, like sliced right through it somehow, starting with the corners. I began patching the smaller teeth marks but there ain’t no going back from this last attack.
