**Q: Could a 1.2 metre dish fit on this ground stand**
A: That's what I am planing on doing although I haven't done it yet but I've used a similar pole to mount a 1.1 metre dish without problems.  Obviously the bigger the dish the bigger the object that this should be attached to.  Mine will be mounted onto four bolts set into 1 metre cube of concrete set into a lawn.
