It is thick, I assume waterproof, and, best of all, QUIET. I thought for certain it couldn't be completely quiet, but it is. It doesn't seem to add any heat and protects the mattress perfectly. It washes well and has a quality zipper. Definitely recommend.

The mattress protector is as true as described as far as its quality, size thickness and the zipper gives it a better fit. Its texture keeps it in place; whereas others that I had before, the sheet would be sliding. I've had other protectors n the past and they don't compare to this one. I highly recommend it.
