It feels well-built despite being lightweight, and the thermoplastic housing should hold up well to occasional outdoor use. I also like that it can pump water down to a very low level, leaving much less cleanup afterward.The 10-foot power cord provides reasonable flexibility, and the built-in thermal overload protection offers some extra peace of mind during longer jobs.A couple of things to keep in mind: this is a manual utility pump, so it won't turn on and off automatically like a traditional sump pump with a float switch.
