Its intuitive to use, and it makes quality crimps straight out of the box. I had not used this type of crimper myself but its the same type they use on the production floor at the aerospace company I work for. I was making quality crimps from the very first one. Super happy I purchased this as its a huge improvement over the stamped and rolled pins that are the other option for Deutche connectors. The ratchet action is very smooth, and cycles completely so you get a consistent crimp every time. Comes in a nice case, with adapters for other size pins.
