I also teach HVAC at a reputable college and we own few refrigerant scales. My colleagues and i never had an issue with this scale and it is our go-to compared to other brands. For some reason the scale of my business read wrong one day. I called Customer Service and they provided me 1) with calibration instruction and 2) with a new unit. Literally no question asked.
