I'm finding some things on TV harder to hear and my wife doesn't. First of all, I had to buy a small adaptor; the TV produces a digital signal and the headphones use an analogue one. It wasn't expensive and works very well. Once the little box was installed, I can hear the TV much better, they actually work really well. The problems are that it becomes uncomfortable to wear after about an hour as the earpieces are pressing into the ears, I wish I had gone for the over-the-ear style. The other problem is that while they do what it says on the box, there is a background hiss that is difficult to ignore. I suspect that it's because they are analogue and we've become used the crisp, clear sound of digital. I did email the makers for some advice and they suggested that - I turn up the volume on the TV!! 1, It doesn't work, and 2, if I have to turn the TV volume up, there's not much point in having the headphones is there!! So, the upshot is that I use them some of the time, when people in the programme are whispering..... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rubbish.😠 *by M***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 March 2021* Used for a week my husband pressed to turn sound off to talk to me and the button got stuck, so now has to take out of his ears to hear me or turn volume down,won't buy again,my husband didn't want the messing about to send back. ### ⭐ Would have been great had it worked. *by M***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 May 2018* Charged it up for 3 hours as instructed, connected to a known working audio source and switched it on. Channel 1 the music was very faint, and full of white noise (suggesting a weak radio signal) - at this point I was standing next to the base, as I moved away I lost the signal completely. Tried channel 2, same problem. Absolutely hopeless.Very disappointing, because had it worked, I believe it is just the thing my father is looking for (birthday present).
