The table seems quite sturdy, the wood is really solid but the drawer and damages were very disappointing for the price.

**Q: Can you fit a gun safe in the drawer?**
A: Not sure it is about 2 1/2 deep about 14 inches wide.

**Q: why is a person using a wallet to open in the video?**
A: Apparently there must be an upgraded model that uses an RFID card activated lock.  My table just has a wooden plug latch and when opened the drawer falls down to completely vertical position.  I attached a tether to keep the drawer from dropping that far.  If they are using this video for the basic model that's rather deceptive and can be disappointing.

Well built. Simple to assemble. Heavier than I thought it would be for the price. Works well, and functions as intended. No problems with mine as some others have reported. I don't open it every day, but I have owned it for about 15 months and it still looks and works like new. I would recommend it. The hidden drawer conceals very nicely. We don't have children in our home any longer, but depending on what you are putting in it, you may want to consider a locking mechanism if you do.
