Review: Surprisingly good! - Wasn't expecting much for the price, and thought it would be an "interim" camera as we got settled. But it's actually awesome. Screen is clear... features are VERY easy to navigate... Completely "plug and go". Very impressed. Still giving 5 stars... but one thing I would note, is that the microphone gets confused if you have background noise (like we have an air purifier)... The microphone at the camera end struggles to pick up quiet baby noises with the background noise going. Thats a very minor gripe though. Still deserves 5 stars, considering price etc. EDIT - UPDATE -- The screen is battery powered, which is proving useful when pottering around the house. And we just worked out you can power the camera off a battery pack (not included), which is great. AND the screen beeps if the camera runs out of battery or disconnects. Really impressive for so cheap. Review: Good monitor, easy to set up and good quality picture and sound - Bought as a replacement for our old monitor. First class product. Easy to install, great reception, picture and sound quality. Battery last for ages, and really easy to charge. A great product for parents to keep and eye on sleeping babies and great value for money. ## Features - Secure, Wi-Fi-Free Connection for Complete Peace of Mind: Operating on a private, encrypted 2.4GHz FHSS connection with no Wi-Fi or app required, this monitor eliminates hacking risks for a reliable, secure link throughout your home - Long-Lasting 7-Hour Battery: The parent unit offers up to 7 hours of use (camera plugs in). Extend battery life with Voice-Activated VOX mode: the screen sleeps when quiet and wakes on sound, perfect for overnight monitoring - Clear Night Vision and Room Temperature Monitoring: Watch over your baby in total darkness with enhanced infrared HD night vision. The parent unit's real-time temperature display helps you maintain a comfortable, safe sleep environment - Soothing Two-Way Talk & 8 Pre-Loaded Lullabies: Comfort your baby directly through clear two-way audio or by remotely playing one of 8 gentle lullabies to soothe them back to sleep without entering the room - Expandable to 2 Cameras for Multi-Room Monitoring: Easily add a second camera (sold separately) to monitor twins or multiple rooms from a single parent unit, offering flexible coverage for your growing family ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CNVDPNGX | | Alert Type | Motion Only | | Antenna Location | Baby Monitoring | | Best Sellers Rank | 8,447 in Baby Products ( See Top 100 in Baby Products ) 98 in Video Baby Monitors | | Brand | GHB | | Colour | Matt White | | Compatible Devices | Tablet | | Compatible devices | Tablet | | Connectivity Protocol | HomePlug | | Connectivity protocol | HomePlug | | Connectivity technology | Wireless | | Controller Type | Push Button | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 411 Reviews | | Form Factor | Dome | | Included Components | Instruction Manual, Power Adapter | | Item Dimensions | 20 x 18 x 5 centimetres | | Light Source | Infrared | | Model Number | ABM600 | | Mount Type | Wall Mount | | Network Connectivity Technology | Wireless | | Night Vision | Night Color | | Night Vision Range | 30 Metres | | Number of Items | 1 | | Photo Sensor Technology | CMOS | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Recommended uses for product | Baby Monitoring | | Room Type | Nursery | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Video Capture Format | MP4 | | Video Capture Resolution | 4k | | Voltage | 5 Volts | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Wattage | 5 watts | | Wireless Technology Type | Wi-Fi | | Zoom Type | Optischer Zoom | ## Product Details - **Recommended uses for product:** Baby Monitoring, Elder Monitoring, Pet Monitoring - **Brand:** GHB - **Connectivity technology:** 2.4GHz - **Special feature:** 2 Way Audio, Night Vision - **Indoor/Outdoor usage:** Indoor ## Images ![GHB Baby Monitor with Camera and Night Vision, Video Monitor, VOX Mode, 2-Way Talk, 8 Lullabies, Temperature Alert, Feeding Reminder, Matt White - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61mXjubRetL.jpg) ![GHB Baby Monitor with Camera and Night Vision, Video Monitor, VOX Mode, 2-Way Talk, 8 Lullabies, Temperature Alert, Feeding Reminder, Matt White - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Rg9pstiwL.jpg) ![GHB Baby Monitor with Camera and Night Vision, Video Monitor, VOX Mode, 2-Way Talk, 8 Lullabies, Temperature Alert, Feeding Reminder, Matt White - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61B8GRrOpLL.jpg) ![GHB Baby Monitor with Camera and Night Vision, Video Monitor, VOX Mode, 2-Way Talk, 8 Lullabies, Temperature Alert, Feeding Reminder, Matt White - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61U-Cnl0rgL.jpg) ![GHB Baby Monitor with Camera and Night Vision, Video Monitor, VOX Mode, 2-Way Talk, 8 Lullabies, Temperature Alert, Feeding Reminder, Matt White - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/711-oCiNMxL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the difference between static and PTZ cameras?** A: a) Fixed cameras: Fixed view without screen remote adjustment. Example: GHB ABM600/700/800/809/MC632B baby monitors are fixed view models. b) PTZ cameras: Pan/tilt/digital zoom with remote directional & focus control. Example: GHB VB807 model. **Q: Can this camera be used wirelessly or connect with mobile phone?** A: No, this ABM600 camera must be plugged in to use, as it does not have a built-in battery. It also does not support Wi-Fi, so it cannot be connected to a mobile phone. **Q: Does this model ABM600 camera support Remote rotation and Motion detection?** A: a) No remote rotation. You need to adjust the camera angle manually. b) No motion detection. The VOX mode is sound-activated only; Note: GHB ABM600/700/800/809/MC632B models lack both remote rotation and motion detection. **Q: What precautions should be taken during use?** A: a) 2.4GHz signal may be affected by home devices (e.g., wireless repeaters), avoid placing near these devices when in use b) Range: 10-20m (after through one wall)/300m (outdoor without obstacles). Walls/floors/metal will significantly weaken signal **Q: When 2 cameras are connected, does it support split-screen display?** A: It does not support a split-screen display, but it supports displaying the monitoring images of different cameras in turn. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly good! *by C***S on 17 December 2025* Wasn't expecting much for the price, and thought it would be an "interim" camera as we got settled.
