This is an area where abrasion from clothing and movement was a real nuisance! It felt raw. First I used the silicone scar dressings, which were OK but expensive and didn't last, then I just covered the scar with a strip of Siltape. It protected it and it stayed on even when I showered. To remove, you just pull from each end and stretch it off.
