The Lumens are exactly what I had searched for over several months. LED is definitely the way to go for the best result in brightness & economy. The light weight of the product is an additional bonus, making them much easier to fit at any height. (As I am still in the process of siting the lights I have bought, I am unable to give a definitive comment on the aspect of diffusion. In the past I have found the tube LED variety does not diffuse the light in the way that neon bulbs do, therefore it is easy to “get in one’s own light” by casting a shadow.
