Extremely light weight and well built tripod. Very rigid especially for the size. Has automatic locking angle locks which is a must. Max height is about 57” so take this into account if you are taller and want to use it while standing.

Really enjoying this tripod. It's a little short for standing with optics (I'm 5'9" in boots) even with a ball head, but it's also compact enough for day hunts and hikes. I got it because it doesn't have the center riser, 4th leg thing and it's working out for me. It's as solid as I need it to be so far, with a lot of adjustability. Legs lock up tight. Packs well into car, totes, and packs. Came with spikes I haven't used yet. Fantastic for spotting with binoculars seated in uneven terrain. Really pleased with it for the money.

I wanted a lighter tripod for long hiking trips that wouldn't break the bank, but would be more stable than extremely light tripods. I decided to give this one a shot and I'm quite happy with it. It's about 1.5 lbs lighter than my heavy duty Gitzo tripod. It can extend just as tall, and I like this one because there's no center leg so I can mount my camera very close to the ground with this one. The legs are sturdy and easy to extend or collapse. It's very stable as well and is a good weight for hiking. For the price point, I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
