Very impressed ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Basic low price slicer *by J***N on January 8, 2026* This is a basic low-cost slicer. It's mostly plastic, but that's what you get for less than $100. I've only used it once so far on a block of cheese, and it worked as expected. The blade is easy to remove for cleaning. Everything is hand-wash only, but again, that's expected. The carriage is not meant for large chunks of meat. The cutting "length" of the blade is about 4", and the depth of the carriage is about the same. Good for salami or pepperoni, but you won't fit a whole turkey breast or roast beef on it. This is not a workhorse. The manual says that for every 10 minutes of use, you need to let it cool down for 30 minutes. That's a bit concerning, but I don't expect to use it for 10 minutes straight.
