I wish I'd known previously that you can plug a PCIe x8 card into a PCIe x16 slot (It just doesn't use the extra pins). Seems logical now, but I'd avoided buying this in the past thinking it wouldn't fit. Super simple drop in. All of my drives were recognized by Unraid. I didn't use the supplied SFF-8087 to SATA cables, but used my existing SFF-8087 to SFF-8087 cable.
