I ended up buying a tablet crusher and sprinkling on my dogs food. However, that seems to work. As for effectiveness, I think it has helped some. He no longer runs into walls where its dim lighting but not expecting miracles as this is a supplement, not lasik surgery. All in all, a great product so far minus the initial disappointment of it not being like a gooey chewable treat. And the flavor must be palateable as he eats it.
